Store Sten is a small farm beautifully situated on the northwest shore of Lake Bolmen. The farm dates back to the 18th century and is named after the large stone that adorns the courtyard. The farm is run by Gunnel, who is passionate about ecology and sustainability. Fjäll cows graze outside the window, and if you are lucky you can also catch a glimpse of the owls that live in the large oak in front of the little cottage. A stone's throw from the house is the farm's jetty and a boat that can be used by all guests.

At Store Sten, guests stay in the beautiful Lillstugan, which is decorated in an older style. Lillstugan has a well-equipped kitchen, dining room, toilet and shower, as well as living room and WiFi. The cottage has 7 beds divided between 2 rooms with 2 beds per room and an open loft with 3 beds. All walls are painted with organic paint and breakfast consists of almost exclusively organic products.
