Stay a stone's throw from the lake and experience country life

Pelles in Sunnaryd is located a stone's throw from Lake Bolmen, which is ringed by deep, quiet forests. The lake has over 300 islands, the largest being Bolmsö, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge in one direction and a ferry on the other side of the island in the other direction. The farm is run by the Johansson family, who work with both forestry and alpacas. In the small farm shop you can buy various alpaca products, as well as yarn from the farm's own alpacas, made in their own yarn maker.

The farm is a fantastic place for those who want to experience life in the countryside. Here you will have the opportunity to take part in country life through various activities arranged on the farm. For example, you can try being a farmer for a day and help the family take care of the farm animals.

For those who wish to stay overnight, accommodation is available in the stable building, in a comfortable room for four people with kitchenette and private bathroom. In the morning, a good breakfast is served.

Join us on the farm and try your hand at farming. No two days are alike. The animals need to be cared for and fed. Who knows, you might have a talent for farming life?

Experience Alpacas
Introduction about the alpaca, coffee & cake, visit to the alpaca boys' pasture & farm shop Enitaget, display of spinning with alpaca wool. Time 2 hours.

Firehouse stories
One of the farm's buildings has an exciting background. We tell you about its history and stories about the nature of the forest an even old tales. We make a fire and offer coffee with snacks. Time required about 2 hours.

Forest hike
We take you on trails, forest and village roads. We show you the aftermath of storm Gudrun and tell stories about nature & cultural history. If you are lucky, you may come across some the forest's inhabitants; elks, fallow deer or wild boar. You’ll have to keep your wits about you though as the wood nymphs or goblins may make an appearance! Approx. 5 km, may vary according to season.
