Erikson Cottage Farm Bakery
Erikson Cottage, which is located outside Hestra, is run by sisters Elisabeth and Katarina. The farm has been owned by the family for four generations. In 2017, Elisabeth chose to take the plunge and realize her dream of starting her own business on the farm. The barn was renovated and converted into a bakery, café and restaurant.
Erikson's sourdough bread has become something of their signature. They spend a lot of time and love on the sourdough, as it takes 48 hours for it to be ready to bake. The ingredients for the baking are supplied from local suppliers. All the flour they use is KRAV-grown cultured grain. If you want to bake bread from this flour yourself, it is for sale in the bakery.
