In 2018, Gustav and Camilla Malmborg started the charming Äppelmusteriet in Broaryd. The idea was to help customers take advantage of and refine their fruit into delicious juice, without additives. During Aug-Oct you can hand in your fruit for juicing. According to Gustav, you get the best juice if you mix several apple varieties with a little pear.

Gustav is passionate about sustainability issues and works a lot with "fruit rescue". If you have a tree with apples/pears that are not used, you can contact the apple juice and they will be happy to come and take care of the fruit. For every 50 kg of fruit they pick, you get 1 liter of must as a thank you.

In the spring of 2019, Gustav planted his first small apple orchard, which is now starting to produce fruit. The apple cider factory also has three apiaries that house about half a million bees in the summer. If you want to buy Äppelmusteriet's must, mulled wine or freshly tossed honey, you can do so in the unmanned seasonal shop on the stairs outside the cider factory.
