Scandinavian Raceway
Experience speed and excitement on Scandinavia's only Formula 1 track
Scandinavian Raceway is an attractive motor racetrack arena that holds both motorcycle and car races. Scandinavian Raceway was inaugurated in 1968 and only five years later, in 1973, Sweden's first Formula 1 Grand Prix race took place on the track. Six more Formula 1 World Championship races were held at Anderstorp up until 1978. In addition to F1, a number of World Championship motorcycle races have also been held at Scandinavian Raceway over the years.
Today, the track is open to the general public who can use their own street car/motorcycle and competition cars/motorcycles for track days. An F1 car experience is also available through Rajamäki Racing Experience. The track also hosts non-motor related events, such as the Swedish Half Marathon Championships, Team Rynkeby charity cyclists, among others.
